Program:
GRASS - Edisa Weeks, USA, 2005, 2 min
A barefoot moment of joy in the most unlikely of places.

COLOURS - Francesca Penzani, USA, 2005, 8 min
The emotive movements of a diverse cast of characters causes colors to drip and streak across the screen.

NO ONE - Arielle Javitch, USA, 2004, 13 min
No One is a visual meditation on the genocides that occurred in Bosnia and Rwanda in the 1990s and the response of the international community.

CHOREA - Jodi Kaplan, USA, 1996, 7 min
A black and white dance film choreographed solely for the screen. The meaning of the title reflects the psychological definition of the word "chorea" or "movement from within."

ARCUS - Alla Kovgan & Jeff Silva, USA, 2003, 4 min
Hans Richter stated that "by taking the whole movie screen, pressing it together and opening it up, top, bottom, sides, right, left, you do not perceive form anymore, you perceive movement." In tune with Richter's insight "ARCUS" is an exploration of the ephemeral nature of movement.

THE COST OF LIVING - Lloyd Newson, UK, 2004, 34 min
This prize-winning film by Choreographer/Director Lloyd Newson of London's famed DV8 takes us to a faded seaside town where street performers struggle to find work and romance.
